MCL2A was an early Master Control Link system which allowed for the linking of rooms together to listen to music around the house. The Beolink 1000 terminal could be used. The device was made up of two control keys, the ‘mute’ and ‘timer’ buttons which turned off the system sound and permitted the link room speakers to be turned on with the timer of the main system.
It was a relatively easy system to both sets up and use and replaced the earlier type of the Bang & Olufsen BeoLink MCL system.
