Beocenter 7700 was king of the 7000-series music centres.  Introduced at the same time as the Beocenter 7007, further refinements were made including that of a push-button opened aluminium cover complete with interior light. Similar in specifications to the Beocenter 7007 the 7700 went further in that it included a better quality MMC3 pickup.

As well as visual aesthetics, the main introduction with this particular model was that of a two-way remote control unit allowing the user to see - by way of an LCD display - just what source was being played in another room. This was indeed extremely innovative and it was something that no other manufacturer had even thought about, never mind put into practise!

Not just another “ordinary music centre” the Beocenter 7700 was clearly in a league of its own, and with its choice of speakers - Beovox S80.2 was recommended as well as any from the new ‘C‘ range of compact speakers for multi-room use - the Beocenter 7700 gave the user just about everything that was available at the time: top quality music from radio, cassette and phono sources and its inbuilt 2 x 40W amplifier.

System Cabinet SC77 (or even the SC50) were created especially for storage of the Beocenter 7700.
