BeoVision

Production: 1984 - 12/1986

Fitted with a 20″ tube, Beovision 5102 delivered 6 watts of good quality sound through its full-range speaker and could be ordered with the optional Teletext module.

A smaller version of  Beovision 8102, the set delivered good quality sound and picture at an affordable price and was ideal for those who did not require a larger set. Like the Beovision 5100 a special grey cabinet could be ordered for this model.

With options such as Automatic Contrast Control being deleted from this model, the A/V socket too became an option.

The Video Terminal - like all the televisions at this period of Bang & Olufsen’s history was the chosen remote control. Up to 32 channels could be electronically stored.

A Loop Amplifier could be used with this model for the hard of hearing.
