The Beolit Teena AM could be used as a car radio. At the time of its production, the portable radio used the latest type transistors; the input transistor in the AM section was the best available in the market and secured excellent AM reception with a minimum of hiss and noise.

Using the latest printed circuit boards throughout the Teena was very rugged and extremely reliable. Its internal battery was securely enclosed but was also easily and quickly replaced.

Compact and transportable the radio had weather- resistant cabinet of impact-proof leather-grained polystyrene which was available in a range of colors.
