BeoGram 2200

BeoGram Record Decks

Production: 1978 - 03/1980

Documents: Schematic

Specially designed to be used in conjunction with the ever-popular Beomaster 1900, the record deck was brought up-to-date by Jacob Jensen with a modern-looking sloping front which perfectly matched the receiver for which it had been designed to complement. Further electronic components were added, in particular, the ability to play 12″ discs at 45 rpm (which were becoming more and more popular at this time).

The deck was fitted with the excellent MMC 20EN cartridge.

Beogram 2200 could be used as part part of the Beosystem 2200 when used with other products from the same Bang & Olufsen product range.

Replaced by the Beogram 2202, both of these record decks were very popular in their day and one can still see fine examples in use today.
