Beovision 5000 was a 26” colour television set which delivered excellent quality sound rated at 6,5 watts, quite a high output for domestic televisions of the mid-1970s.

Automatic Cut Off, as part of the Visionclear System was an electronic circuit which regulated colour balance 50 times a second.  This was a patented Bang & Olufsen circuit which is automatically set to ensure lifelike colours at all times.
