When linked to Beomaster 2400 through the Datalink connector, Beogram 2400 could be remotely controlled via the receiver’s ultrasonic remote control handset. The controls were simple, but it drew customers to it because of this new technological advancement. Looks-wise, this model was no different from the Beogram 2200.
The Beogram 2400 graced with the better-specified MMC 20EN pickup, an elliptical diamond stylus which had rave reviews, and even an inbuilt RIAA pre-amplifier.
When used with other compatible products, Beogram 2400 could be made up as part of the sleek-looking Beosystem 2400.
Beogram 2402 replaced this particular model in 1980.
