Available in rosewood and grey these two small passive loudspeakes stood apart from most of their other Bang & Olufsen product families because they were very inexpensive to purchase. Sold as complementary loudspeakers to many of the cheaper music systems of their days they could likewise be used around the house as part of a Beolink setup when they would be powered with Beolink passive. They could equally be used with other manufacturers' products.
The two loudspeakers were identical in every way apart from the MC35 was finished with a rosewood cabinet toghether with a black cloth front and the MCX35 was covered in a grey plastic material.
Both speakers could handle 35W RMS. Neither speaker was replaced with any further model.
