BeoVox 1200 Passive Loudspeakers

BeoVox Loudspeaker

Production: 1969 - 1972

The Beovox 1200 loudspeaker could handle 15W RMS and was the first loudspeaker in Bang & Olufsen’s first ‘designer range’ of products.

A choice of either rosewood or teak real-wood veneers could be ordered with the speaker as well as white, which complemented the rest of  Beosystem 1200’s components exactly.

The speaker was two-way with both a 15cm woofer and a 5cm tweeter fitted inside its wooden cabinet which was finished with a silver-coloured metal grille.

Beovox 1200 was subsequently renbadged and sold as the Beovox 1001 to complement Beomaster 1001.
