BeoMaster 1500

BeoMaster

Production: 1978 - 1980

Beomaster 1500 replaced the popular Beomaster 901 model which was itself a very good-looking 2 x 25 W receiver incorporating an FM/AM radio tuner. Four favorite FM radio stations could be pre-set and an illuminated indicator aided the tuning in of radio stations on both wavebands; one for AM signal strength and the other one showing when a stereo transmission was being received on the FM band. A useful addition to this model was the ’silent tuning’ mode which meant that a user could tune in to radio stations without listening to the annoying ‘white noise’ which was the case with most other manufacturers’ models.

Connections were available for a record deck, cassette deck, a pair of headphones and two pairs of stereo speakers.

Beomaster 1500 could be made up as part of the Beosystem 1500 when used with products such as the Beogram 1500 record deck, Beocord 1500 cassette recorder and a pair of Beovox S30 or S25 loudspeakers.
