BeoMaster 7000

BeoMaster Tuner/Amplifier

Production: 1992 - 12/1996

Documents: Owners Manual, Schematic

Delivering a useful 60 watts of power through each of its two speakers, Beomaster 7000 was the last of the Beomaster 5000 / 5500 / 6500 range of ’stacking’ products and was produced right up to the mid-1990s when one could purchase it for use with its own specially designed remote control terminal, the Beolink 7000.

An RDS decoder was built into the quality FM tuner which, like its predecessors, was able to tune in to the LW and MW wavebands as well.

Datalink allowed connection to amplified speakers like BeoLab 4000, BeoLab 6000 or Beolab 8000. Beolab Penta MKIII was particularly suited to this high-powered receiver.

The name ‘Beomaster’ would not reappear in Bang & Olufsen’s product list until February 2009 with the arrival of BeoMaster 5, but by then it had become a new product philosophy.

Below is shown the Beomaster 7000 (top left) as part of the Beosystem 7000 in its standard black with natural aluminum livery.
