BeoCenter 3300

BeoCenter

Production: 1977 - 11/1980

Documents: Schematic, Owners Manual

Based upon the Beomaster 2200 and the Beogram 1902, Beocenter 3300 combined a powerful 2 x 40W amplifier together with a good quality AM/FM stereo receiver and automatic record player. The unit was striking because of its long, sleek, low appearance and the right-hand side wheel for helping tune in one radio station accurately.

The record deck was fitted with a spring-suspended rotatory mechanism and an electronic servo drive system thus ensuring accurate turntable speeds at all times, even during electrical mains fluctuations. A special pendulum leaf spring suspension made the arm and platter immune to external shocks and vibrations which can cause most other record players to mistrack and damage both the record and stylus. An MMC 4000 pickup was fitted to the pickup arm as standard.

The record deck - in an effort to make easy its functions - was fully automatic. By touching just the one button the deck sprang into life and looked after your records with the utmost of care.

There were extra sockets on Beocenter 3300 for a cassette deck, headphones, an extra record player and two sets of stereo speakers.

When linked together with other compatible Bang & Olufsen products, Beocenter 3300 was known as Beosystem 3300.
