The sleek Beocenter 2100 was really one of three machines… each offering slightly differing facilities. Its siblings included Beocenter 2200 and Beocenter 4000. However, whereas Beocenter 4000 was endowed with two cassette decks (useful for copying tapes) Beocenter 2100 just had the one. Beocenter 2100 was not equipped with a record deck in order to offer the customer a wider range of products. Bang & Olufsen suggested either a Beogram RX2 or TX2 record deck to make up a complete system.
Beovox X25 loudspeakers came with the music system although the customer could mix and match as the mood suited. With loudspeakers Beovox X25 loudspeakers the system was known as Beosystem 2100.
Stand SM40 was available for displaying the Beocenter 2100 as well as the Beocenter 2100 and 4000.
