BeoGram Record Decks

Production: 1974 - 1976

Documents: Owners Manual

Beogram 2000 was a super machine. Similarly-looking to the Beogram 3000 with its sleek looks, tonnes of aluminum and a wide range of finishes, Beogram 2000 was designed for use with the Beomaster 2000 when - along with such speakers as the Beovox 2702 and a Beocord 2200 cassette deck - it was known as the Beosystem 2000.  The deck could play back both stereo and the new ‘matrix-encoded’ quadraphonic discs which were popular around this time.

Its built-in pendulum suspension system allowed for relative insensitivity of external shocks and vibrations and a hinged transparent dust lid was fitted to protect the mechanism while in and out of use. It was equipped with the SP10A cartridge.

It was replaced in 1976 with Beogram 1100, the first of a new breed of slimline record decks fitted with the new range of MMC cartridges.
