Beogram CD6500

BeoGram Compact Disk Players

Production: 1989 - 02/1992

Documents: Service Manual, Owners Manual

As times changed, often so did the badges on the front of Bang & Olufsen products. The superlative Beogram CD5500 became the new Beogram CD6500 as if by magic, and once again, along with its other family members, Beosystem 6500 was born and became the flagship model, ruling the roost once more, taking over from where Beosystem 5500 had left off.

There was in fact a slight modification made to the CD drawer, but nothing significant took place other than a change of livery and a new name.

Why change something that was almost perfect?
