BeoCord 6500

BeoCord Compact cassette

Production: 1989 - 01/1992

Documents: Owners Manual, Service Manual

A marketing ploy to replace the previous Beocord 5500 with another, the re-badged version of its former self, Beocord 6500 was designed to match aesthetically and technically with the rest of the Beosystem 6500 stacking system.  Few changes were made to either the technology or the styling - other than the previous motor system of Beocord 5500 being replaced with another simpler version.

Another beautifully-styled Jacob Jensen design, HX-Pro, Dolby B and C noise-reduction circuitry and Datalink were fitted as standard.
