Following on from the Beocom 1400 and Beocom 1500, BeoCom 1401 was introduced to the range of Bang & Olufsen products as a simple-to-use corded telephone which offered a choice of bases and supports. Like its predecessors the phone could be mounted on a wall or used on a table-top when it could be provided with an optional A/V volume control for most modern Bang & Olufsen audio and video products.
It included such facilities as a 10-number memory, redial function for the last number, adjustable volume control and microphone mute. All of the phone’s controls were mounted on the handset’s keypad and therefore were within easy reach.
A simple to use telephone which offered good functionality at a reasonable price.
