BeoMaster Tuner/Amplifier
Production: 1985 - 05/1987

Beomaster 3000 was the heart of the Beosystem 3000. Equipped with an FM and AM receiver with four preset FM stations it had an adequate amplifier delivering 30W per channel of undistorted stereo sound. An FM tuner was fitted which was also able to receive both LW and MW broadcasts. The receiver replaced Beomaster 2400and was similarly specified to that of the Beomaster 2000 but equipped with its infra-red remote control which could control essential functions of the unit itself as well as a connected Beogram 3000 and Beocord 2000, two recommended products (as there never was a compatible Beocord 3000).
Superficial changes were made between the two receivers; the main difference technically was that the Master Control Link 30 multi-room system was integrated within the electronics of the Beomaster 3000 so that around the house music could be heard, in a similar fashion to that of Beosystem 5000 and Beocenter 7000.
Beogram CDX compact disc player could also be connected to the receiver although could not be controlled by remote control.
