Production: 1991 - 1995
Designer: David Lewis
Replacing the Beovox RL35 this resdesigned speaker was very similar technically although a new colour scheme was offered: a choice of either glossy black casing with a black front speaker fret or a white cabinet with a grey cloth front.
The red line was replaced with a silver line around its cabinet circumference although the speaker range still retained its ‘RL’ prefix.
To replace the matching red and black ’sprung’ cables of its predecessor, a new range of white and grey or black and grey was sold.
The new more modern-looking colours brought the speakers right up to date, matching for example, the Beomaster 4500 system.
