Beovox S22 was the smallest of the Uniphase range of loudspeakers during the late 1970s. They could handle 22 watts RMS of power and would be ideally placed with such music centres as Beomaster 1100 or Beocenter 1800.
Like the others in the Beovox Uniphase range, their covers were easily removed where underneath was found a 160mm woofer together with a 25mm tweeter. Connection was via a DIN type 2-pin plug.
The speaker was replaced by the Beovox S25.
At the time of its release the Beovox S22 UK price was 72.00 GBP a pair.
