Beovox S30 and S40 were two pressure-chamber type loudspeakers both produced at the same period of time.
The S40 was a two-way unit comprising a 200mm woofer and a 25mm tweeter and reproduced music faithfully for its budget pricing. Its sizing allowed for placement in a shelving system.
It was generally sold when purchased with the Beomaster 2300.
The similarly-specified Beovox X40 was sold in certain markets which was technically identical to the Beovox S40.
