Beocord 2000 was produced to complement both Beomaster 2000 and Beomaster 3000 and was fitted with Datalink and Dolby B Noise Reduction. However, HX-Pro was omitted from the machine although metal tapes could be played, as well as standard Ferric Oxide and Chrom Dioxide cassettes.
Both Sensitouch and the remote-controlled operation was possible, and ease of use made this an economical and overall reliable machine.
