Øivind Alexander Slaatto

Øivind Alexander Slaatto graduated from The Danish Design School in 2007 as Industrial Designer and is founder of Slaatto Design.

For his ability to humanise innovation, he received a first prize in an INTEL Design Contest in 2005 for ‘Future Laptop’ and currently has commitments with Louis Poulsen Lighting and Bang & Olufsen among others.

Øivind has a background as musician, studying at the Royal Danish Academy of Music where he has given performances both as a soloist as well as an orchestra musician with orchestras all over Europe playing anything from classical, avantgarde, klezmer, pop and whatever else he enjoyed playing. Øivind holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from The Danish Design School in 2007.
