BeoMaster 1600 K/M (1970)

BeoMaster Tuner/Amplifier

Production: 1970 - 12/1973

Beomaster 1600M was an updated version of the Beomaster 1400. It delivered 2 x 15W and had an FM, LW, MW and 2 SW tuner incorporated.

An apparent Henning Moldenhawer hi-fi creation - one of the last few that he designed for Bang & Olufsen - Beomaster 1600M was based upon the Beomaster 900 with similarly-placed features situated in familiar places.

Two pairs of additional loudspeakers could be connected if desired, with push buttons on the front panel being used for selection.

Beomaster 1600K was fitted with a pair of stereo speakers at either side of the cabinet; Beomaster 1600M did not have any inbuilt speakers although the two models are identical in every other way.
