For two generations, Jacob Jensen Design has played a leading part on the international design stage with clients like Bang & Olufsen, Gaggenau, Vertu, Vestas, Volvo, Steinway & Sons and Jabra. Designs from the studio are exhibited in art and design museums all over the world. The most remarkable is the solo exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in 1978: ‘Bang & Olufsen – Design for Sound by Jacob Jensen’. designs to its collections and today owns nineteen such works.

Beomic 2000 was one of those products chosen by MoMA in New York to be included in its Design Collection in 1979.

Jacob Jensen and Bang & Olufsen also received the iF Award in 1970 for their design of the Beomic 2000.
