Beovision 6002

BeoVision

Production: 1977 - 09/1982

Replacing Beovision 6000, the  Beovision 6002 was an equally luxurious television set. It was more slimline that its forerunner and utilised a 26″ colour 20AX tube that had just been introduced at the time.

Looks-wise the newer version still retained its beautifully-finished real-wood vennered cabinet with tambour door allowing access to the TV itself.

The new set featured the similarly-looking remote control handset with its ‘hill and dale’ feature.  The technical details remained the same as for the Beovision 6000.  Teletext could be fitted to the set if required.

A wooden undercarriage complete with smooth-running castors both supported the set and allowed it to be moved easily.

Beovision 6002 was replaced by another luxury set, the Beovision 9000, in 1981.
