Another 22″ receiver in Bang & Olufsen’s range of 22″ colour TV models, the Beovision 7700 included a 14 watts log-line loudspeaker system made up of an 8,5cm and a 5cm speaker.
It was identical to the Beovision 8800 with the exception that it was manufactured with a smaller screen. Up to sixteen stations could be electronically tuned. It operation was by way of the Video Terminal remote control. The Beovision 5500 / 7700 / 8800 range was the first range of Beovision television sets equipped with an infra-red remote control.
Connections were included on the set for an extension loudspeaker as well as to a hi-fi system. There was also a headphone socket fitted.
An easy-glide undercarriage at 34 cm in height was provided for mounting the set and it had optional accessories of a Bang & Olufsen Loop Amplifier for the hard of hearing as well as a Teletext decoder and a Video FBAS kit.
Beovision 7700 was replaced in by the Beovision 7702 after the end of its market availability in 1984.
