With a larger screen size than Beovision 3000, Beovision 3800 looked very similar to the TV that it replaced. Fitted in a more sedate rosewood or teak veneered cabinet, this TV was a little easier to place than its more modern-looking Beovision 3502 and 3802 which could be ordered in either aubergine or white. Bang & Olufsen has always had the philosophy of giving customers a choice hence the introduction of this model.
Customers also had a choice of two undercarriages on which to place it: either a 42cm tall stand or a slightly lower one at 34cm.
Beovision 7000 replaced this particular model at the end of its life.
