Replacing the Beocenter 2300, BeoSound 3000 had the same specifications as the Beocenter 2500 in that it was composed of an FM/AM radio, CD playback and comprised Power Link and MasterLink connections.
In later years of its life its microprocessor software was updated and visually enhanced being given a larger CD cover in aluminium which gave the unit an overall more modern look.
