BeoGram 5000

BeoGram Record Decks

Production: 1983 - 12/1986

Documents: Service Manual, Schematic, Owners Manual

The stunning Beosystem 5000 was genuinely innovative upon its introduction, and there, piled high was the Beogram 5000 turntable (it couldn’t go beneath the other four hi-fi components for obvious reasons).  Based upon a Beogram 1800 but restyled in brushed aluminum to complement the other elements and darkened perspex lid, the record player was simplicity itself to use. Upon opening a light illuminated by way of welcome.  All it was left for the user to do was to pop in the disc, press START - either on the deck itself or through the MCP 5000 remote control - and play began automatically. Easy!

The MMC4 cartridge was fitted as standard, and of course, the deck came with Datalink connections.
