BeoSystem 1200

BeoSystem

Production: 1969 - 12/1973

Beosystem 1200 was Bang & Olufsen’s very first ‘designer’ system which was characterized by matching units.

The system was made up of Beomaster 1200, Beogram 1200 turntable and Beocord 1200  reel-to-reel tape deck. A pair of Beovox 1200 loudspeakers could be used with the other components to make up a very desirable and modern-looking integrated hi-fi system.

The Danish Society of Industrial Design awarded Jacob Jensen and Bang & Olufsen and Jacob Jensen the ID Prize in 1969 for the system.
