MCL82

BeoLink MCL

Production: 1979 - 1986

Over the years few manufacturers have produced methods of listening to both music and watching the video around the house.  Bang & Olufsen is one of the few companies that have developed such a system; its very first system Master Control Link  82 system (MCL82) was developed in the early 1980s and over the years has become a sophisticated and widely-used simple method of enabling the transfer of music and video sources in one’s home, either by cable or, more recently, by wireless.

MCL82 (type 2041) was the very first version of Master Control Link and used with the Beosystem 5000 and Beocenter 7000/7700. The transceiver permitted for the control of all components in the primary music system while in another (link) room.
