Beovision 5000 was  a 20″ colour television set with high quality sound and picture that had been obtained on the Beovision 5500. It was fitted with a tambour door in its cabinet, coming with a choice of either teak or rosewood finish.

The television had an array of twelve preset buttons for the immediate reception of a dozen most-used TV stations. Remote control was not provided with this model therefore there was no Teletext facility.

Beovision 5002 replaced this particular model at the end of its life late in 1982.
