BeoGram 3000 (1985)

BeoGram Record Decks

Production: 1985 - 05/1987

Documents: Service Manual, Schematic, Schematic, Owners Manual

With little functional difference between this model and the Beogram 5005, Beogram 3000 was a record deck featuring tangential tracking and played discs at the standard 33 and 45 rpm. Initially recommended to be used with Beomaster 3000 (although in practice Beogram 2000 was the more preferred deck) Beogram 3000 was fitted with an MMC4 cartridge and Bang & Olufsen’s patented suspension system, that of  Optimum Pivot Point, which secured against vibrations affecting its high-quality sound reproduction.

A repeat function was built in allowing for the repeat of a record up to seven times as well as Datalink for connecting the player to other suitably-equipped Bang & Olufsen music systems.

In 1987 the black plastic and aluminum record deck were ousted by both the Beogram 3300 and Beogram 9000, both of these players - unlike the Beogram 3000 - came with their own similarly named systems.
