BeoGram 9000

BeoGram Record Decks

Production: 1988 - 1990

Documents: Owners Manual, Schematic, Service Manual

Whereas Bang & Olufsen engineers could have chosen to give Beocenter 9000 a more sophisticated, sleek-looking record deck in much the same fashion as Beogram 3000 (which would have matched the looks of Beocenter 9000 much closer), they chose to adopt a ’squarer’ look for the shape of the Beogram 9000 record deck. Perhaps they had too many components left over and thought that they would go to waste if not used up?  Who knows.  But the fact is that this model neither was mainly a strong seller even though it was pretty much state-of-the-art and one which was fitted with both Datalink and a modern-looking tangential arm giving ease of operation and utmost care to precious vinyl discs.

The deck could be controlled via remote control via Beocenter 9000, and it was fitted with the MMC4 pickup.
